Just after attending FJ Summit in Colorado, my wife had a week-long training she was required to attend at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Since her hotel was already paid for and we share most meals it would be a free trip for me. So I decided to go with her and do some Kentucky adventuring. On the way we stopped at the Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site and the Mammoth Cave National Park. While my wife was in class I visited several other historical sites and National Parks and visited the one and only Kentucky Fried Chicken birthplace and museum. After she got out of class in the evenings and on her short days we were able to see waterfalls, a Red River Gorge and other sites along with doing some antique coffee shopping at flea markets in the area. It was an awesome time!
